Tom was so happy to be there...this smile tells.
Kevin Weakley (Athletic Director) & Troy McIntosh (WCMS Principal & Assistant Superintendent) tried to get Tom to go down on the field before the game started to see a "surprise". Tom wasn't up for the adventure and said "just tell me". They soon returned with this:
The team warm-up t-shirts dedicated to Tom:
Anglea
Walking Worthy
Sacrificing
Praying
What a special moment when Tom saw the shirt...he teared up!
We are so thankful for Terry, Kelly and my dad for their help in getting us there. What a huge support they have been all along the way and they just continue to support and encourage us.

Seniors "storm" the box to share the glory with Tom!
Tom wanted to go outside the box for the last few minutes of the game...his timing is impeccable!
Special Memories & Moments
A Columbus Dispatch reporter caught up with Tom as we were heading out of the box after the victory. He wanted to get some comments from Tom after seeing the seniors come up to the box. He road the elevator down, back up and down again as Tom shared his emotion of the day! The reporter mentioned his father was just recently diagnosed with throat cancer...we said we would pray for him and he said he would pray for Tom! We look forward to reading the article.
We want to thank everyone who made it possible for Tom to be at the game today. The Crew Stadium Staff treated us like royalty and opened the box for us to use...compliments of The Crew! Thank you to Troy McIntosh, Kevin Weakley, Ryan Smith, Cindy Dunn, The Crew Staff, WC Warrior Soccer Team and Dan Roads for making this a day to remember! God is good...all the time.
Congratulations WC Warriors
