Continued Blessings...

Tom, Emilia & Sarah
Last Tuesday Sarah had the opportunity to babysit for our youth pastor's little girl, Emilia Jane.  What a sweet little girl who brought smiles to all our faces.  Over the past year we have had the privilege of praying for many new little one's God has brought into this world:
Aubree Hess - February 28, 2011
(Zac & Sarah's niece)
Mya Moore - March 4, 2011
(Matt's basketball coach's daughter)
Malayna McMahon - April 2, 2011
(WCHS teacher's daughter)
Nathan Wise - May 2011
(WCMS teacher's son)
Maisie Belohlavek - May 30, 2011
(Missionary friend's daughter)
 Thaddeus Melfe - June 12, 2011
(Friends from church)
Emilia Nicodemus - September 13, 2011
(Friends/Youth Pastor from church)
Zachary Leeshing - October 2, 2011
(Sarah's ESL Conversation Partner from OSU)
Abigail Hrynkow - December 14, 2011
(Friends & Sarah's 4th grade teacher...a little pink bundle after 4 blue bundles! Yeah)
What joy it is to welcome these precious miracles into our world.  I wish I had the pictures of all the babies to display.  Nothing more precious than new life!
"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth."
Psalm 127:4
But most precious of this year is Declan John Magee...our new nephew we have yet to meet!
1 week old...Declan
Tuesday evening we were again blessed with a wonderful homemade meal from Jennifer Deskins.  What a wonderful meal to welcome Tom's parents into town.  We enjoyed chicken and rice, green beans, homemade bread, strawberry spinach salad and homemade carmel popcorn!  We ate all the food before I remembered to take a picture!
Thank you, Jennifer & Elden
On Thursday Tom's parents accompanied Tom to his therapy sessions.  They especially enjoyed watching the physical therapist work with Tom on his walking.  It was so funny during his last session of occupational therapy when Tom asked the therapist to let him leave early because he had a "big night" ahead!  A big night was an understatement...
Thursday evening we all headed to Villa Milano for the "Tom Anglea Benefit Dinner".  The only word we can use is "overwhelmed".  We were so amazed at the outpouring of love and support by nearly 600 people who gathered to honor us with their presence as we enjoyed a wonderful meal, skits, music and beautiful table centerpieces that were each unique representations of "Things Tom Enjoys", donated and then bid on during a silent auction!  Please know that we only wish we could personally greet and thank each of you who were there...we are humbled beyond words.  I do not have any pictures to share...I pray that the many photographers that were there will share their photos with me!
Last Wednesday while Julie Mitchell was here to change Tom's PICC line dressing she was unable to draw his blood through the PICC line.  I guess this is very common, therefore a PICC line evaluation will be done Tuesday morning back at OSU Medical Center at 9:00 a.m.  Tuesday afternoon Tom has his MRI scheduled at 2:00 followed by a 3:15 appointment with the neurosurgeon, Dr. Elder.   Whew...between the PICC line evaluation and MRI we hopefully will get Tom's parents to the airport.  If we take longer with the PICC line then Sarah is our back up airport transfer.  It's a busy day for sure.

Tonight we were blessed again with another homemade meal compliments of Diane Sutliff.  Diane is a lifelong friend who went to the church I grew up in!  She was at our wedding 26 years ago.  She made her famous chicken pot pie with homemade noodle dough...yum!  Rolls, jello salad and two pies completed the delicious meal.

Thank You, Diane!

Hey everyone,
I'm so glad Granny & Pops made it to Ohio safely! I'm sure they will enjoy every minute they have with Uncle Tom. It's so nice to see pics of your family. Sarah looks so pretty and Uncle Tom looks so good! Have a great week!

Love,
Abbie
